Das Warten hat bald ein Ende. Hier die News, auf die alle Fans des ADVANCED WARFARE Mods, lange gewartet haben. Laut Meldung der offiziellen AW-Seite, ist das Release der Final 2 Version für den 10 Juli geplant. Damit hat das Warten ein Ende. Hier der Text zur dieser schönen Meldung:
The time has come to announce the official release date of AW2. It will be out 10.07.2009!
It will be available for download from our download page from the various mirrors that are kind enough to offer their hosting. The release is about a month from now and the date is on a friday, that way you will have the whole weekend to try it out with your friends
We're very excited about this release. 1½ years has passed since the initial work began on AW2 and it is soon coming to an end. The public beta releases have been out for almost a year now and the feedback we have gotten from people has been great. It was a great idea to make the beta public so you could all contribute to the mod by giving your oppinions and helping out with the areas that needed fixing. Thank you for that. It has really helped a lot in improving, bugfixing and shaping AW2 to what it has become - in the end giving you a more stable game.
JO is not dead and AW2 will hopefully help to breathe fresh air into the series and give you a whole new experience with the game. With AW2 we have focused on improving the fun gameplay, especially coop, that is really unique compared to other games and has been one of the main things that has kept people coming back to the game all these years.
We've tried to make the mapping experience as easy and straightforward as we possibly can with new content to suit a lot of different scenarios, so mappers will have a great time creating unique and fun maps for you all to enjoy!
